Find the Best Events at Gardens by the Bay 2021

Gardens by the Bay was conceptualized in 2005 as a horticulture recreational space in Singapore, rivalling iconic green spaces across the world like Central Park and Kew Gardens. It was part of an initiative that aimed at transforming Singapore from a ‘Garden city’ to a ‘City in a Garden’. Every attraction in this popular tourist spot is filled with a ‘lush greenery meets high-design’ aesthetic. It harbours the world’s largest greenhouse, a children’s garden, and even utopian Supertrees which light up at night and play music!  With over 10 million visitors every year, Gardens by the Bay is a treat for all your senses.

Gardens by the Bay Events

The following are the events that take place in Gardens by the Bay throughout the year.

Garden Rhapsody

One of the most popular attractions in the Gardens by the Bay is the Supertree Grove and the new Supertree Observatory. These are a group of artificial trees mounted by several real plants on its trunk and a light-emitting canopy as its branches. These trees come alive at night as they light up and play music from the 68 speakers attached all over the grove. They play classic musical scores with choreographed lighting to make for a breathtaking experience.
