What’s not allowed

• Crutches, strollers, and electric mobility devices are not permitted in support areas.
• Personal belongings such as handphones, wallets, jewellery, and accessories are not allowed in certain habitats; small lockers will be provided.
• For safety reasons, loose items must be secured before entering support areas.
• Pets are not permitted, except for registered service animals.

Accessibility

• Most public areas at the Singapore Oceanarium and the Research and Learning Centre are wheelchair accessible.
• Selected support areas may not be wheelchair accessible due to stairs and the absence of ramps; access to these areas may be restricted.
• Accessible restrooms are available on site.

• Participants under 18 years old must be accompanied and supervised by a paying parent or legal guardian at all times. The maximum ratio is 1 adult to 3 children.
• Children under 4 years old must be capable of walking independently to enter support areas.

• Participants must not engage in air travel within 12 hours after a single dive or within 18 hours after multiple/repetitive dives.

Accessibility

• Chronic health conditions, certain medications, and/or recent surgery may require you to get written approval from a physician before diving.

Additional information

• For PADI AWARE Shark Conservation Specialty Course, participants must have a PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver certification or equivalent and present it upon check-in and at the dive site.
• For Shark Dive, participants must possess dive certification from an internationally recognised organization and product it upon check-in and at the dive site.
• All participants must complete and sign the liability and medical/health declaration forms onsite before diving.
• Participants under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian (above 21 years) present onsite to complete and sign the required forms.
• The minimum age for participation is 12 years for the PADI AWARE Shark Conservation Specialty Course and 10 years for the Shark Dive.
