Every time you walk through the gates or make a purchase at any Mandai wildlife park, you’re supporting conservation across Singapore and Southeast Asia. That’s because a portion of all revenue is invested directly into over 50 conservation projects, helping species like the Sumatran orangutan and the critically endangered Sunda pangolin thrive in the wild.

  • Mandai Wildlife Reserve houses around 21,000 animals across nearly 1,000 species.
  • Almost 26% of these species are threatened in the wild, meaning your visit helps protect some of the planet’s most vulnerable species.

Nutrition & Diet Planning

The Wildlife Nutrition Team meticulously designs species-specific diets that replicate natural food sources. They adjust menus regularly to support growth, health, and reproduction. Supplements are added when needed to ensure every individual receives exactly what it needs.

Enrichment & Exhibit Design

Habitats are carefully created to encourage natural behaviours, from foraging to climbing. Animals enjoy puzzles, toys, and feeding challenges to keep them physically active and mentally engaged. Each has an enrichment calendar tailored to its needs.

Wildlife Rehabilitation

As one of Singapore’s designated centres for rescued animals, Mandai cares for around 1,400 animals annually — including pangolins, owls, and civets. Healthy survivors are released; others receive long-term care when release isn’t possible.

Community Conservation Projects

From rescuing bears in Laos and protecting Malayan tigers in Malaysia, to conserving Javan gibbons via ethical coffee farming in Java. These projects combine wildlife protection with community engagement.
