• Walk to the Napier MRT station from the Museum of Ice Cream Singapore and take the Thomson East Coast Line to the Springleaf MRT station. You need to hop on a bus from here to reach Singapore Zoo from here.
  
• Alternatively, you can take the metro on the North-South Line from Orchard Road to Khatib MRT and take the Mandai Khatib Shuttle Bus to get to the Singapore Zoo.

Best for: Budget travel and sightseeing
Travel time: 1 hour 30 minutes

• Take bus 174 from Aft Min Of Foreign Affairs bus stop to Bef Crown Ctr. You can take buses 170 or 961 to reach Opp Mandai Est. Now, take bus 927 to reach the Singapore Zoo bus stop.
  
• Alternatively, you can take bus 174 to Leedon Green, and get on bus 855 to the Bef Khatib bus stop. Walk for about 2 minutes to Khatib MRT Exit A pickup point and catch the Mandai Khatib Shuttle to reach the Singapore Zoo.
  
• Please note that you need to switch between buses 132, 138, 75, 123, 105, and 927 depending on the route you take and time of day. 

Best for: Save time, the fastest way to get to Singapore Zoo
Travel time: 25-30 minutes
Distance: 19 kilometres

• Get on Tanglin Road after you leave the Museum of Ice Cream and continue toward Orange Grove Road. Continue driving until you reach Stevens Road. 
  
• Drive for about 1.5 kilometres till you reach a Y-junction. Take a left here till you merge with PIE. 
  
• Drive for around 4 kilometres after merging with PIE before taking the left to exit 24 for BKE which heads toward Woodlands. 
  
• Now, get onto the Bukit Timah Expressway and drive for 7 kilometres before taking exit 7 for Mandai Road.
  
• Follow the Mandai Road till you reach the Singapore Zoo.
