Boarding points for Singapore river cruises

Singapore River Cruise By Public Transport - By Bus
  • Used for: Singapore River Cruise (traditional bumboat, 40 min) and the Singapore River Cruise + Chilli Crab and Seafood Experience.
  • Address: 3 River Valley Rd, Singapore 179024. On the river bank opposite Raffles' Landing Site and the Old Hill Street Police Station.
  • Inside location: The Singapore River Cruise ticket counter sits on the Clarke Quay riverside between Block C and Block D, next to Hooters.
  • Getting there: Clarke Quay MRT (North East Line) or Fort Canning MRT (Downtown Line), both a short walk. Buses 32, 54, 195 and 195A stop at Clarke Quay Bus Station. By car, set navigation to Clarke Quay Central Mall; parking is in the mall.
  • When to arrive: Redeem at the counter at least 15 minutes before your departure hour — arrive at 12:45pm for a 1pm boat.
  • Documents: Show your voucher or QR code with a valid photo ID at the ticketing counter to collect a boarding pass. No outside food, drink or luggage on board.
  • Good to know: Clarke Quay Jetty and Eu Tong Sen Jetty are both on the Clarke Quay stretch but serve different operators. If your voucher says WaterB, you are at the wrong jetty.
Singapore River Cruise By Public Transport - By MRT
  • Used for: Singapore River Sightseeing Cruise by WaterB (40 min). You choose one of four jetties when you book; the route is the same loop from a different starting point.

Your four options:

  • Bayfront North Jetty — Marina Bay, near the Helix Bridge and ArtScience Museum. Bayfront MRT (Circle / Downtown lines).
  • Fort Canning Jetty — upper river near Fort Canning Park. Fort Canning MRT (Downtown Line).
  • Eu Tong Sen Jetty — Clarke Quay side, by Clarke Quay Central. Clarke Quay MRT (North East Line).
  • Merlion Park Jetty — 1 Fullerton Rd, beside the Merlion statue. Raffles Place MRT (East West / North South lines).
  • When to arrive: Sailings run 2pm–9pm daily. Arrive 15 minutes before your slot; boats depart on a fixed rotation and will not wait.
  • Good to know: The jetty is fixed to your booking: you cannot board at a different one on the day. Merlion Park Jetty is the hardest to find at night; walk to the waterfront directly behind the statue, not the promenade above it.
  • Used for: Singapore Original DUCKtours (60 min, amphibious vehicle).
  • Address: Big Bus & DUCKtour Tourist Hub, Suntec City Tower 5, 3 Temasek Blvd, Singapore 038983.
  • Inside location: The tourist hub counter is at street level on the Nicoll Highway side of Tower 5. The DUCK vehicle boards from the kerb outside the hub, not from the counter.
  • Getting there: Promenade MRT (Circle / Downtown lines) is the closest, with a covered walk through Suntec City. Esplanade MRT is a similar distance. Parking is in the Suntec City car park.
  • When to arrive: Departures run 10am–6pm. Arrive 15 minutes early to check in at the hub counter.
  • Documents: Present your voucher at the Big Bus & DUCKtour counter to exchange for a boarding pass.
  • Good to know: This is a land-and-water tour — it starts on the road at Suntec and enters the water at Marina Bay. Do not go to a jetty.
  • Used for: Royal Albatross Sunset Sail (tall ship, 2–3 hrs).
  • Address: Resorts World Sentosa, 8 Sentosa Gateway, Singapore 098269.
  • Getting there: Sentosa Express monorail from VivoCity (Level 3) to Waterfront Station, then walk to the berth. Sentosa Bus 1, 2 or 3 also serve the RWS waterfront. By car, use the RWS car park via Sentosa Gateway.
  • When to arrive: Sailing window is 5pm–7:30pm. Ships depart on time — Sentosa Express queues on weekend evenings are the common reason people miss it. Allow 30 minutes from VivoCity.
  • Good to know: Two different cruises board inside Resorts World Sentosa (see the next tab). Check whether your voucher says Royal Albatross or Southern Albatross — they are different vessels at different points.
  • Used for: Albatross Hop-On Hop-Off Speedboat Pass and Singapore Speedboat Adventure.
  • Address: Southern Albatross Booth, Resorts World Sentosa, 8 Sentosa Gateway, Singapore 098269.
  • Getting there: Sentosa Express to Waterfront Station, or Sentosa Bus 1, 2 or 3. From VivoCity allow about 25 minutes door to door.
  • When to arrive: Departures run 11am–3pm. Check in at the booth 15 minutes before your slot.
  • Restrictions: Not available to children under 3, pregnant travellers, guests with cardiac conditions, or guests over 130 kg. Wheelchairs, prams and strollers cannot be taken on speedboat tours.
  • Good to know: A complimentary raincoat and water bottle are provided. Bring a small towel — the ride is genuinely wet.
  • Used for: Marina Bay Sands Yacht Cruise with Wings of Time (1 hr 30 min).
  • Address: ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove, 11 Cove Drive, Singapore 098497.
  • Inside location: Report to the ONE°15 lobby, then to the pontoon. This is a members' marina — you will be directed from reception.
  • Getting there: Sentosa Cove is on the far east of the island, about 25 minutes from HarbourFront. Take the Sentosa Cove shuttle bus from HarbourFront Bus Interchange, alight at Sentosa Cove Arrival Plaza, then walk 5 minutes to the ONE°15 lobby. Taxi and private hire drop off at the lobby.
  • When to arrive: Cruise runs 6:30pm–8:15pm. Arrive at the lobby 15 minutes before departure. There is no later sailing.
  • Good to know: This is the most remote boarding point on this page and the shuttle is infrequent — budget an extra 20 minutes over what a maps app tells you.

Accessibility & special assistance

  • Clarke Quay Jetty, the WaterB jetties and the Suntec City hub are reached by step-free routes from their nearest MRT stations, though the final ramp onto a bumboat pontoon is uneven and staff assistance is recommended.
  • Speedboat tours do not accept wheelchairs, prams or strollers, and are not available to pregnant travellers, guests with cardiac conditions, or guests over 130 kg. If you need mobility assistance, contact the operator at least 24 hours before departure or speak to staff at the counter on arrival
  • Service animals and medical devices follow the operator's own rules, listed in your booking confirmation.
