Getting to Singapore Cable Car by public transport

Best for: Saving time, budget travel
Travel time: 10 minutes (from Chinatown MRT station)
Closest stop: HarbourFront MRT station.
Timings: 5:30am to 12:30am.

Take the Circle Line or Northeast Line MRT and hop off at HarbourFront Station.
Take Exit D to reach the Marang Trail.
Walk up the 15-minute* trail to reach Mount Faber Peak. .

By bus

Best For: Sightseeing
Travel time: Varies depending on the starting point in the city.
Closest stop: HarbourFront Station
Timings: Bus services in Singapore typically operate from early morning till midnight.

Take any of the following buses that stop at VivoCity Mall (HarbourFront Station): 10, 30, 61, 97, 100, 131, 143, 145 & 166
Opposite VivoCity Mall, you'll find the Marang Trail which leads uphill.
Trek up this trail for about 15 minutes* to reach Mount Faber Peak.

Getting to Singapore Cable Car by Car

Driving Route

Best for: Convenience
Travel time: 10 minutes (from Chinatown).

You can set your destination to Mount Faber Peak and simply follow the directions.
If you are starting from Chinatown, then take Neil Road to reach Kampong Bahru Road. This should take approximately 4 minutes for a distance of 1.1 km.
Continue on Kampong Bahru Road until you reach Mount Faber Road. This part of the journey should take around 4 minutes for a distance of 1.7 km.
Use the left lane to turn slightly right onto Mount Faber Road.
The total journey is approximately 4.2 km and should take around 10 minutes, making it the fastest route.

Parking facilities

You can get complimentary parking at Carpark B, located before the Mount Faber Peak lobby, and at Carpark C. Alternatively, you can also get valet service at the lobby for a fee of SGD 6 per vehicle. The valet service is free of charge for diners, with the exception of the Eve of Public Holidays, Public Holidays, and Valentine’s Day (14 February). The valet parking service begins from 10:00 AM.
