Floating above the harbor on the Singapore Cable Car feels less like transportation and more like a slow-motion postcard. One minute you’re in the city, the next you’re gliding toward Sentosa with ships scattered below like toy boats in a bathtub. The cabins are surprisingly smooth and quiet, giving you plenty of time to snap photos—or pretend you’re starring in your own travel documentary. The views stretch from lush green hills to glittering skyscrapers, with a dash of thrill when you remember you’re suspended high above the water. It’s equal parts scenic and slightly daring, in the best way. If you’re heading to Sentosa anyway, skip the ordinary commute. Take the sky route. It turns “getting there” into one of the highlights of the day.

Very nice experiences, unfortunately we couldn't visit the Cloud. However, we were able to visit the Super Tree and enjoy the views on the walk. In the evening, we watched the light show from Marina Bay Sands. A very nice experience.

An amazing experience at the Singapore Oceanarium! The space is incredibly spacious and well-designed, allowing visitors to explore comfortably without feeling crowded. The environment is calm and ambient — perfect for families and anyone who loves marine life. The order and flow of the exhibitions are well thought out, making the journey from one section to another smooth and engaging. The animals are well cared for and displayed in a way that’s both educational and enjoyable. If there’s one area to improve, I’d say the food options could be more diverse to match the overall excellent experience. Overall, a memorable visit that beautifully combines learning, relaxation, and awe. Highly recommended! 🌊🐠

  • Monday to Sunday: 8:45am - 10:00pm. Last boarding by 9:30pm.
  • Please note that the Singapore Cable Car Mount Faber Line will be out of service from 8 September to 1 October 2025, while Sentosa Line will be suspended from 2 to 20 October 2025.

Duration: You can expect to spend anywhere between 30 minutes to 1 hour riding the Singapore Cable Car. The exact duration of the ride depends on the ticket type, route, and weather conditions.

Best time to visit: If you're heading to Sentosa's attractions like Universal Studios or S.E.A. Aquarium, catch a morning ride to arrive early and beat the crowds. But if you're all about the views and just want to explore, aim for an evening trip around 5:30 pm to 6:00 pm. This lets you see the transition from day to night as the sun sets over the city. Weekdays are generally less busy than weekends, so you'll enjoy a more relaxed journey.

How to reach:

  • Bus: Take any of the buses that stop at VivoCity and hop off once you reach there. Opposite VivoCity, you'll find the uphill Marang Trail, which you will need to walk up. Mount Faber station awaits you at the end of a 15-minute walk!
  • MRT: Once you get down at the Harbourfront MRT station, take Exit D to reach the Marang Trail. You'll reach Mount Faber station after a 15-minute walk up the hill.
  • Taxi: Taking a taxi cab to Mount Faber station is the fastest and most convenient way to ride the Singapore Cable Car. You can drive up the Mount Faber road and get down at Mount Faber Peak where the station is located.

  • Wheelchair accessibility: All cabins of the Singapore Cable Car are wheelchair friendly and is known to accommodate one wheelchair and a maximum of seven other passengers.
