Which entrance should you use?
Each park has its own entrance gate. Use the entrance for the park on your ticket.
- Singapore Zoo, River Wonders, and Night Safari: Enter at Mandai Wildlife East (80 Mandai Lake Rd). Singapore Zoo and River Wonders are adjacent and share the same arrival hub. The Night Safari entrance is a short walk from the Zoo and opens from 6:30pm.
- Bird Paradise and Rainforest Wild Asia: Enter at Mandai Wildlife West, reached via the East-West Shuttle from Singapore Zoo Coach Bay (10 minutes) or directly if arriving by the Mandai Shuttle — request the Mandai Wildlife West stop when boarding at Khatib.
For Night Safari: arrive 10–15 minutes before your timed-entry slot. The tram queue forms quickly after the gates open and the front carriages fill first.

How do you get around Mandai Wildlife Reserve?
Mandai Wildlife Reserve is divided into two zones separated by a 10-minute shuttle ride: Mandai Wildlife East, which contains Singapore Zoo, River Wonders, and Night Safari; and Mandai Wildlife West, which contains Bird Paradise and Rainforest Wild Asia. The free East-West Shuttle between them runs every 15 minutes during operating hours. Within each zone, walking paths and park trams connect the main habitats.
Mandai Wildlife East (80 Mandai Lake Rd, main entrance)

Free-ranging orangutans
The world's first free-ranging orangutan habitat lets Bornean and Sumatran orangutans move through the tree canopy above the walkways, with no visible barriers between them and visitors. Asian elephants

Birds in flight at Bird Paradise
The Crimson Wetlands walk-through aviary houses scarlet macaws, roseate spoonbills, and flamingos in open flight above visitors without cages or barriers. - For daytime parks, arriving at opening gives you the first animal presentations of the day before groups arrive. Singapore Zoo's elephant feeding at 9:30am is one of the most active periods in the park — plan to be at Elephants of Asia by 9:20am.
