The Gardens by the Bay light show timings are 7:45 PM and 8:45 PM daily and usually lasts for about 10-15 minutes.

As such there are no off days for the light show; in case there are any closures for maintenance, they update their website regularly, so make sure to check ahead before you visit.

Tips for visiting the light show at Gardens by the Bay

  • If you have the budget, purchase a ticket to OCBC Skyway so you get an aerial view of the light show. You get great views of the Gardens and Singapore city from this elevation.
  • On the other hand, if you don't want to spend the extra cash, you can just watch the light show from the Supertree Grove. Try to find a spot on the ground below the Supertrees so you can lie down and watch the lights and music do their thing during the show.
  • Visit the Gardens during December for a special Christmas themed Garden Rhapsody show and the Christmas Wonderland fest at Supertree Grove.
  • Since you travelled all the way to the Gardens, it'd be a shame to not visit the other attractions as well. You can get combo tickets that cover attractions like Floral Fantasy, Flower Dome, and Cloud Forest within Gardens by the Bay, that come at a great price and offer value for money.
