Experience cloud-like lushness on earth | Visit the Cloud Forest at Gardens by the Bay

What is the Cloud Forest Singapore?

The other half of the two cooled conservatories at Gardens by the Bay, the Could Forest stays true to its name, giving you the feeling of walking on clouds. It features a mystical mountain-like ambiance complete with unusual plants, mist, and waterfalls.

Here are all the reasons to visit this unique attraction at Gardens by the Bay, along with some handy visitor information and tickets, in case you decide to explore the conservatory.

Why visit the Cloud Forest?

Gardens by the Bay - Cloud Forest
  • Indoor Waterfall: The Cloud Forest houses one of the largest indoor waterfalls in the world. The 35 meter tall waterfall in addition to the regular misting of the conservatory makes for a cozy ambience.
  • Extraterrestrial Vibes: The conservatory is decked out with special props and lighting in honour of the Avatar: The Experience exhibition. If you love the Avatar movies, you'll definitely enjoy walking through the Cloud Forest and experiencing Pandora on earth.
  • Unusual Flora: Sure, the ambience is amazing, but the star of the show is the sea of unique species that call the Cloud Forest its home. Carnivorous Venus Flytraps and epiphytes are among the many plants to see that you would usually find on remote mountains in obscure geographies. Make your life easier and see them all (and more!) at the Cloud Forest.

Tips for visiting the Cloud Forest at Gardens by the Bay

  • There are misting hours every two hours at the Cloud Forest, starting at 10 AM. The whole greenhouse takes on a literal cloud-like ambience during these times, and can elevate your viewing experience. Try to plan your visit during these hours; we promise you won't regret it.
  • Right next door to the Cloud Forest is the Flower Dome, aka the other cooled conservatory at Gardens by the Bay.
