The ticketing experience was positive and easy. I am not sure that you can arrive at the shop and organise the experience without booking in advance, so my advice is to pick an hour you expect to have free whilst doing other actvities on Sentosa Island. My experience of Scentopia was so much fun! I was there on my own and the shop was quiet, so I had time to browse and think about what type of scent I wanted to create for myself. For myself, I wanted it to be a reflective experience, which I think might have been lost in a larger group, although a larger group would have made it more of an activity for more social enjoyment. The process itself was far different from what I had imagined, as I thought it would be more of a workshop experience, but this was a chance to overload the olfactory senses in a way you don't get a chance to try very often. After answering a questionnaire, you are led to a bank of 4 x 12 different fragrances, and sniff and snuff to you heart's content, finding the ones that resonate with you. Once you have found the scents you love, they are gathered together to create your very own signature scent. It is then taken by the scentologists and mixed with the carrier perfume liquid to give you your own scent. The experience was also a lot quicker than I anticipated thinking that it might take one or two hours. In fact, I was finished within 45 minutes and that was without rushing the process. The staff themselves were very knowlegeable and helpful, with some good insights into the scents to try first. At the end of the day it was a fun experience, and I have ended up with a unique (one-of-a-kind) perfume especially for me - an experience and a product you are unlikely to find or afford to do/have in any other place around the world. 5 STARS!!

C'était extraordinaire ! Une expérience unique en son genre. Le personnel s'est montré très conciliant à mon égard, car je me suis blessé et je suis en fauteuil roulant. Ils connaissaient très bien leurs senteurs et ont fait de très bonnes recommandations. Il est facile de se sentir dépassé, car il y avait entre 200 et 300 parfums, mais nous n'avions que l'embarras du choix ! J'ai adoré mon dernier flacon de parfum. J'ai mélangé 10 senteurs différentes et, d'une manière ou d'une autre, cela a fonctionné à merveille. Mon partenaire et moi avons adoré nos parfums uniques. Je vous le recommande vivement !

Amazing. There were so many fragrances to sample. The staff were helpful and informative. It was an amazing experience. One of a kind.
